Beautiful, fresh berries and creamy goat cheese are the perfect pair! Celebrate the Fourth of July with this easy recipe.
I may be a new mama, but I refuse to miss out on my favorite celebrations! For me, making something yummy is the best part of holidays. And its even better if I can make it pretty and colorful.
This recipe hits all the marks.
Homemade jam is so easy to make and the flavor is really fresh and vibrant. You can also add some minced fresh mint or basil for a little extra flair! The honey helps cut the tart flavor of the raspberries and strawberries. And serving it with a salty cracker makes this appetizer just about the best thing ever.

Triple Berry Jam & Goat Cheese Spread Recipe
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup minced fresh strawberries
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp raw local honey
- 8 oz goat cheese log
- crackers for serving
Optional for garnish:
- fresh berries
- honey (to drizzle)
- honey comb
Rinse your berries. Mince the strawberries into small pieces (I used about 4 medium strawberries). Place all the berries and the water in a pan over medium-high heat.
Allow the berries to cook down for about 5 minutes. Using a whisk, mash the berries as they cook. After the berries have broken down and formed a thick sauce, whisk in the honey.
Remove the triple berry jam from the heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Place the goat cheese on a serving platter and pour the homemade jam over the goat cheese. Serve with crackers!
HEALTH TIP: Eating raw, local honey can help combat allergies! Bees feed on the local plants that cause allergies for many of us. Eating the honey made from these plants can help to build a natural immunity and may help reduce your allergies during each season.
We also served our Triple Berry Goat Cheese Spread with a few wedges of honey comb. Sometimes we get a little fancy. Enjoy, friends!
I hope you love this recipe as much as we do! Happy Independence Day!
